- What does the SAPO KIOSK registration consist of?
- In order for you to access and use certain functionalities of SAPO KIOSK, you must register yourself previously.
- This registration consists of the creation of a Personal Account that will identify you in SAPO KIOSK (“Personal Account”).
- Registering in SAPO KIOSK will offer you the possibility to vote for your favourite covers, save your favourite publications in a personal area, send comments, send covers or links to your friends, among other functionalities.
- How can I register myself?
- It is very easy. You only need to access the main page of SAPO KIOSK and to provide the requested information. It is obligatory to indicate an e-mail address and a password. Do not create Personal Accounts by automatic means.
- Do not forget that all information you provide must be true, accurate and updated. You must also maintain and regularly update the data you provide so that they remain credible, correct and up-to-date.
- The password you choose must be easy to memorise, and you may include digits and letters in it.
- You may change the data of your Personal Account in your client area at any time.
- IF YOU ARE UNDER 16-YEARS-OLD, ASK YOUR PARENTS OR GUARDIAN TO HELP YOU AND BE WITH YOU DURING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS. DO NOT REGISTER BEFORE TALKING TO YOUR PARENTS OR IF THEY DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO REGISTER.
- How can I access the services which require a registration every time I want to use them?
- In order for you to access a service that requires previous registration, you only have to fill in the text boxes indicated on the Login page of SAPO KIOSK with your access data.
- For security reasons, simultaneous login to SAPO KIOSK by users using the same identification data in different IP addresses will not be allowed.

- What precautions must I take with my registration data?
- You must keep the login information of your Personal Account at SAPO KIOSK confidential, and you must not disclose it to third parties or navigate in conditions that allow for its decoding and copying by third parties.
- Do not access your Personal Account using someone else’s password. You must also bear in mind that any access and use of SAPO KIOSK with your Personal Account information are of your sole responsibility.
- What if I forget my registration data?
- In this case, PTC will send you a new password via e-mail and the previous one will be deleted. [You may change the password provided by PTC using the options offered during the login.]
- Can my personal account be suspended or cancelled?
- Yes. Your account may be suspended or cancelled in the following cases: (i) in case of non-compliance with the rules applicable to the use of SAPO KIOSK (SAPO KIOSK Registration, SAPO KIOSK specific Terms of Use, the Web Portal Use Policy and/or the Privacy Policy) or (ii) if you do not access your Personal Account for 90 days or more.
For the purposes of the previous item, a suspended account consists of an Account in which your username and password remain valid, being reactivated as soon as you log-in again to your Account.
- PTC will send an e-mail informing you that your account was suspended or cancelled, using, for this purpose, the e-mail address you provided.
- PTC does not take responsibility for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the cancelation or suspension of your Personal Account.
- May I cancel my Personal Account?
- Yes. You may request at any time that your Personal Account is cancelled, using the following e-mail user@sapokiosk.com, this request having the same effect as the cancellation of the Personal Account by PTC.
IF YOU ARE UNDER 16-YEARS-OLD AND FIND IT NECESSARY, YOU MUST ASK YOUR PARENTS OR GUARDIAN FOR HELP IN THE CANCELLATION OF YOUR REGISTRATION.
- Concluding Information
- In the event of any contradiction, incoherence or non-compliance of this document with the Terms of Use of SAPO KIOSK, the latter shall prevail.
- PTC reserves itself the right to partially or completely change or update the terms of SAPO KIOSK Registration at any moment, without previous warning and with immediate effects.
- Any communication PTC might make will be forwarded to the e-mail address chosen in the context of your Personal Account. Messages sent via e-mail are considered delivered in the very same day they were forwarded.
- Without loss for the rules applicable under the terms of the local legislation, these Terms of Use are governed by Portuguese legislation and, in the event of litigation in the interpretation or application of the present Terms of Use, the jurisdiction lies with Lisbon District Court, with express with express renunciation to any other.
