Terms of use
SAPO KIOSK is a website owned by PT Comunicações, S.A. (“PTC”) through which you can access the covers of the main Portuguese and International newspapers and magazines. SAPO KIOSK also offers a range of functionalities, such as posting comments, opinions, ideas and suggestions, voting for the covers and sending friends the covers or a link to them. The use of these functionalities might be subject to registration.
IN ORDER FOR YOU TO USE AND TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF SAPO KIOSK, BEAR IN MIND THE FOLLOWING RULES:
- Do not use or explore SAPO KIOSK for commercial purposes or for those involving any kind of payment, including its contents, materials, functionalities or resources, except as authorised by PTC.
- Do not use SAPO KIOSK contents (i) in any way that may be illegal, mischievous, violent, discriminative or offensive or (ii) in conjunction or in association with images or other contents that are illegal, mischievous, violent, discriminatory or offensive;
- Do not send commercial or publicity messages, as well as links or similar means of connection to other websites to SAPO KIOSK.
- Do not send comments, suggestions or opinions, or any contents that are illegal, mischievous, violent, discriminatory, offensive, that might violate the privacy of third parties, or contents written by someone else or which you have no permission to use. Do not provide false or deceitful information.
- Do not access SAPO KIOSK functionalities subject to previous registration using third parties’ e-mails and passwords, and do not authorise third parties to use your e-mail and password to navigate in SAPO KIOSK.
- Do not erase, damage, destroy or delete the contents provided in SAPO KIOSK or remove any copyright notice, commercial brand or notices of ownership rights. It is strictly forbidden to cut, edit or perform any kind of alteration, as well as to make public the cut, edited or changed contents.
- You may include the provided covers on other sites or blogs, as well as send them to third parties as long as you mention its source and do not perform any kind of alteration. In this case, the provision of contents must be made as to prevent its reproduction, alteration and edition.
- If you find any illegal, offensive, incorrect, insulting, violent or inappropriate content, send us an e-mail to the following address info@sapokiosk.com. We will make every effort to fix the situation.
- Do not introduce virus or other files/codes which are likely to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any kind of equipment or system.
- Do not maintain more than one active registration at SAPO KIOSK.
- Use only the devices and mechanisms provided by PTC to access, navigate in SAPO KIOSK and use its functionalities.
- Do not impersonate anyone or any entity, or send misleading materials expressing or indicating they are sponsored or supported by PTC.
- Do not collect, store, provide, transmit, search or reproduce information about other users (including usernames and/or e-mail addresses) for unauthorised purposes.
Besides the above mentioned rules, read as well the SAPO Portal Use Policy, that is also applicable in this case, and the Privacy Policy. It is extremely important that you read these documents, as they contain rules for use and additional information that might help you use the intended channel or service in the best manner.

- SAPO KIOSK was developed with the aim of satisfying the interests of our users. Nevertheless, we cannot guarantee that SAPO KIOSK will meet any kind of needs and expectations you have or that serve your particular purposes.
- Do I have to do anything to use SAPO KIOSK?
- In order to use SAPO KIOSK, you only have to access the page http://www.sapokiosk.com , and then you may immediately navigate in it.

- What if I do not respect the terms of use of SAPO KIOSK?

- Is PTC responsible for the contents provided in SAPO KIOSK?
- PTC does not hold itself responsible for the contents which appear on the provided covers, the messages and comments of users, the contents of the links to other websites included in SAPO KIOSK, any information, product or service that might be associated with or announced at the Portal, including “banners” or any kind of publicity, or for SAPO KIOSK.
- PTC is not obligated to preview, watch, supervise or edit any contents or materials provided at SAPO KIOSK. Nonetheless, PTC may control SAPO KIOSK, as well as withdraw a content/comment a user might have published in SAPO KIOSK at any time and without any previous warning.
- PTC may also use the contents it publishes at SAPO KIOSK on any space or area of SAPO KIOSK, or in any other location run by PTC or by a company belonging to Grupo PT.
- The contents you provide through SAPO KIOSK, including opinions, comments and suggestions, are of your sole responsibility.

- What must I do if I know someone who is violating the terms of use of SAPO KIOSK?

- Will SAPO KIOSK be operational all the time? Is it safe?

- We also make all efforts to ensure the Portal and each one of its channels and services do not have any kind of virus or other elements equally dangerous to your computer. Nonetheless, since we cannot completely control the flow of information on the Internet, we cannot ensure that they do not contain any kind of virus or other elements that might damage your computer.
- Similarly, we cannot guarantee that the contents exchanged or sent through the Portal and from any channel or service it has are not seen by third parties, to whom those contents were not addressed.
- PTC does not hold itself responsible for the damages or losses that might result from its use or impossibility to use the Portal or that do not result from actions by PTC, and it also does not take responsibility for profit loss, indirect damages, and data loss or damage.
- Can SAPO KIOSK close?
- Yes. PTC may at any time and without previous warning:
- Partially or completely suspend access to SAPO KIOSK, especially during its management, maintenance, repair, alteration or update;
- Definitely or temporarily shut down a part of or the entire SAPO KIOSK.
- PTC can also restrict access to any part of SAPO KIOSK or subject it to strategic or commercial limitations according to its own criteria.
- The suspension or closing of SAPO KIOSK, for any reason, does not give you the right to receive an indemnity or compensation from PTC.
- Yes. PTC may at any time and without previous warning:

- We recommend that you read this document periodically, since we may alter the terms of use of SAPO KIOSK at any time and without previous warning. If you do not agree with one of the rules of use, you must not use SAPO KIOSK.
- Without loss for the rules applicable under the terms of the local legislation, these Terms of Use are governed by Portuguese legislation and, in the event of litigation in the interpretation or application of the present Terms of Use, the jurisdiction lies with the Lisbon District Court, with express with express renunciation to any other.
